The Svyatogorsk Lavra has published films and photos dedicated to the trip of the delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the holy places of Egypt

10 documentaries and 9 articles illustrated with 962 photos dedicated to the trip of the delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the Christian shrines of Egypt have been published on the Internet resources of the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra.

The visit of the delegation of abbots and inhabitants of monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to Egypt took place on March 25 - April 1, 2021 with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine at the invitation of His Holiness Coptic Patriarch Tawadros II.

Following the outcomes of the trip, "Trip Diaries" were published on the website of the Svyatogorsk Lavra. The publication was prepared by the information and educational department of the Svyatogorsk Lavra. In a series of informative films and articles, the authors speak of the history of the origin of monasticism, as well as the life of ancient Egyptian ascetics and modern Christians of Egypt.
