His Beatitude Onuphrius Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine meets with delegations from the Local Orthodox Churches

On 27 th July 2021, after evening service at the Dormition Monastery of the Caves
in Kiev, His Beatitude the Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onuphrius
received a delegation of the Local Orthodox Churches who had come to participate
in the celebrations for the 1033 rd anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.

Attending the celebrations were a delegation from the Antiochian Orthodox
Church headed by the secretary of the Holy Synod the bishop of Seleucia Ephraim;
the auxiliary hierarchs of the Patriarch of Serbia Porphyrius the bishop of
Remesiana Stefan and the bishop of Toplica Hierotheos; and the archbishop of
Prague Michael from the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia.
The guests congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphrius on the 1033 rd
anniversary of the Baptism of Rus and conveyed congratulations from the Primates
of their Churches.

The meeting was attended by the chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the
metropolitan of Boryspil and Brovary Anthony, the deputy chairman of the
Department of External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church
Nikolai Danilievich and Ukrainian bishops and clergy who accompanied the
foreign delegations.
