Church helps provide people in Moldavia with a vaccine against coronavirus

With a blessing of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, 2000 doses of Russia’s vaccine SputnikV will be supplied to Moldavia with the help of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate. Given as a humanitarian aid, the vaccine will be distributed through the Orthodox Church of Moldova.

The Republic of Moldova has approved the use of SputnikV this February becoming as of today the 38th country in the world in which it can be used for vaccination. Now Russia’s vaccine is approved for use in 67 states.
