DECR chairman meets with Russian ambassador in the Republic of Korea

Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s department for external church relations, met on 23 September 2009 with the newly-appointed Russian Ambassador in the Republic of Korea, Constantine V. Vnukov.

They discussed a wide range of issues concerning Orthodoxy in the Korean Peninsula.

Participating in their talk were also Rev. Sergiy Zvonarev, DECR acting secretary for the far abroad, and D. Petrovsky, a DECR staff member.
