Concert in Istanbul on Sunday of Orthodoxy

A concert of Greek music was organized by the Patriarchate of Constantinople on the occasion of the Sunday of Orthodoxy on 13 March 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey.

Present at the concert was His Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew. Among the guests were bishops and priests of the Orthodox Church of Constantinople, diplomats and public and cultural figures in Istanbul. There were also Hegumen Philip Riabykh, DECR vice-chairman, who came to Istanbul for the Leaders of Change Summit, and Russian Consul General A. Yerkhov.

A documentary was shown, devoted to the 20^th anniversary of the primatial ministry of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople.

After the concert, His Holiness addressed himself to the audience with a speech of greetings.
