Primates of the Russian and Bulgarian Orthodox Churches celebrate at the Church of Christ the Saviour on the commemoration day of Ss Cyril and Methodius

On 24 May 2014, the commemoration day of Ss Cyril and Methodius, Equal-to-the-Apostles, and the Name Day of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill and His Holiness Neophytos, Patriarch of Bulgaria, celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Church of Christ the Saviour in Moscow together with the assembly of hierarchs of both Churches.

After the divine service, the two Primates addressed the worshippers. A congratulatory address of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church was read by Metropolitan Onufriy of Chernovtsy and Bukovina, and several hierarchs were granted high church awards.
