DECR chairman meets with Vuk Jeremic, President of the Serbian Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD)

On April 26, 2016, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR), met with Mr. Vuk Jeremic, former Serbia’s Foreign Minister and now President of the Center for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD), at the parish house of the church of Our Lady the Joy to All the Afflicted-in-Bolshaya Ordynka. They were joined by Mr. Zdravko Ponoś, CIRSD executive director, and Hierodeacon Roman (Kiselev), DECR secretariat for the far abroad.

Metropolitan Hilarion recalled Mr. Jeremic’s constructive cooperation with the Russian Orthodox Church when he was Serbia’s Foreign Minister and president of the 67^thsession of the UN General Assembly.

In the course of their friendly talk, they discussed a wide range of matters of mutual concern.

In conclusion of the talk, they exchanged tokens of the meeting.
