Ukrainian Orthodox Church prayerfully celebrated the 30th anniversary of granting the Charter of Independence and Self-Governance

On October 28, 2020, with a blessing of His Beatitude Onufriy, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, festive Divine Liturgies were celebrated in the churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the granting of the His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia’s Charter of on the Independence and Self-Governance of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Prayers were lifted up for the repose of the souls of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II and His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir.

After the Divine Liturgy, a thanksgiving was celebrated, the Orthodox Life portal reports.
