Ascension Day celebrated at Damascus representation of the Russian Orthodox Church

On 28 May 2020, the Feast of the Ascension of our Lord, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Damascus representation of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The liturgy, which was celebrated by the representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russian to the Patriarch of Great Antioch, Hegumen Arseniy (Sokolov), was attended by the few parishioners – the faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church who reside in the Syrian capital city.

After the liturgy, coffee was offered to the faithful.
