Metropolitan Hilarion meets with Primates of Orthodox Church of Alexandria and Polish Orthodox Church

On September 23, 2018, with a blessing of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations, came to Warsaw on a working visit.

On the same day, Metropolitan Hilarion met with His Beatitude, Theodoros, Patriarch of Alexandria, who is on official visit to the Polish Orthodox Church, and His Beatitude Sava, Metropolitan of Warsaw and All Poland. They discussed a wide range of issues concerning inter-church relations.

During his trip, the DECR chairman was accompanied by Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, DECR vice-chairman, and Rev. Anatoly Churyakov, a DECR staff member.
