Metropolitan Hilarion meets with Greek ambassador to Russia

On May 15, 2018, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR), met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Russia Andreas Friganas, at the church of Our Lade the Joy to All the Afflicted-in-Bolshaya-Ordynka in Moscow.

They were joined in their talk by Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, DECR vice-chairman, and Mr. Dimitrios Yalamas, head of the Greek embassy department for culture.

They discussed students’ exchange between educational institutions of the Russian Orthodox Church and Greek universities, as well as other topics of mutual concern.
