His Holiness Patriarch Kirill consecrates the house for disabled children at the Ascension Monastery in Bancheny

On 2 October 2011, after Divine Liturgy celebrated at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity of the Ascension monastery in Bancheny, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia visited the house for disabled children, where he performed the office of consecration and addressed those gathered with a primatial homily. As a keepsake of his visit, he donated a copy of the Yaroslav icon of the Mother of God to the children’s house.
