Episcopal Metochion in Indonesian city of Bekasi celebrates its patronal feast

The All-Night Vigil and the Divine Liturgy were celebrated at the Church of St. Vladimir – Episcopal Metochion – in the city of Bekasi, Republic of Indonesia, to mark the commemoration day of the Holy Grand Prince Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, and the Day of the Baptism of Rus’.
With the blessing of Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, Vicar of the Singapore Diocese, officiated at the Divine Liturgy on the feast day, reports the Exarchate’s Telegram channel. Concelebrating with the archpastor were clerics of the Metochion, as well as Priest Boris Setyawan, Rector of the Church of the Holy Apostle Thomas in Jakarta; Priest Ioann Nugrahanto, Rector of the Church of the Great Martyr Paraskevi in Bandung; Priest Adrian Hadi, cleric of the Church of St. Cosmas of Aitolia in Malang; Priest Agapitos Gunavan, Rector of the Church of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Jakarta; and Deacon Damian Darmavan, cleric of the Church of the Holy Apostle Thomas in Jakarta.
The Liturgy was followed by a procession of the cross.
After that, Bishop Pitirim congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the patronal feast of St. Vladimir Church and delivered a homily.
The celebrations continued during a parish repast.
