Wreaths are laid at the Memorial to Russian Glory at the New Cemetery of Belgrade on the anniversary of the end of World War I

On November 11, the anniversary of the end of World War I (1914–1918), a solemn wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Memorial Monument to Russian Glory at the New Cemetery in Belgrade.
The event was attended by Aleksandra Sofronijević, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, H.E. Alexander Botsan‑Kharchenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Sergei Malinovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Serbia, representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia, the Mayor’s Office of the City of Belgrade, the diplomatic corps, associations of veterans, and Russian compatriots.
The memorial service for the fallen soldiers was celebrated by Archpriest Vitaly Tarasjev, rector of the metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in Belgrade, the Telegram channel of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia reports.
