Divine Liturgy celebrated in the Sultanate of Oman for the feast day of holy apostle and evangelist Luke.

On 31st October 2025 on the feast day of the holy apostle and evangelist Luke the Divine Liturgy was celebrated for the Russian Orthodox community in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman.
The service was taken by the rector of the Church of the Holy Apostle Philip in the United Arab Emirates archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev) in a church belonging to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Patriarchate of Antioch. Concelebrating with Father Alexander was deacon Alexei Kostin.
Praying at the service were parishioners living in Oman. The Creed and Lord’s Prayer were sung communally by all the worshippers in the church. Many of those present at the service also took Holy Communion.
At the conclusion of the service Father Alexander congratulated the faithful on the feast day and delivered a homily on the life and martyrdom of Saint Luke.
