UOC church in Brody, Lviv region, was seized

In the Ukrainian city of Brody, St. Vladimir Church – one of the last remaining churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Lviv region –– was taken away from the faithful, reports Orthodox Life, citing Dozor_kozak1 Telegram channel.

According to the report, the local authorities had forcibly closed St. Vladimir Church back in 2023. Over these past years, the OCU raiders forged documents and reregistered the church as one affiliated with their schismatic organisation.

On 4^th October, the raiders broke into the church. The rector of the parish refused to hand over the keys, so they broke down the door.
