Moscow Theological Academy announces Enrollment for Online English-Language theological course

The Moscow Theological Academy has announced enrollment for its online English-language theological course for the upcoming 2025/2026 academic year.
The course is designed for one academic year (9 months) and covers seven core subjects of the Orthodox theological curriculum: Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testaments, Dogmatic Theology, Patrology, Fundamentals of Orthodox Worship, History of the Christian Church, and History of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion and final examination, issued in the established format, the MTA Press Service reports.
The course is taught by faculty of the Moscow Theological Academy in the form of online lectures, and includes independent study of the provided academic materials for the subjects listed above. The program is intended for candidates for ordination and church workers serving in parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad who already hold a secular higher education, as well as for all those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the foundations of Orthodox doctrine.
Enrollment is open until 09:00 (Moscow time) on September 22, 2025.
