Leadership of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission holds a working meeting at the Russian diplomatic mission in Palestine

On August 25, Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeyev), head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem; hegumen Nikon (Golovko), deputy head of the Mission, hieromonk Amvrosy (Ignatov), sacristan of the Mission's metochion of the Holy Forefathers in Hebron; and Mr. Yury A. Romashuk, official representative of the Mission in Palestine, took part in a working meeting held at the Representative Office of the Russian Federation to the Palestinian National Authority.

The Mission's website reports that among those attending the meeting were Mr. Gocha L. Buachidze, head of the Russian Representative Office to the Palestinian National Authority, and Mr. Nikita S. Kozhemyak, advisor to the Representative Office.

The parties discussed urgent issues related to the integrity and security of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission's metochion in Hebron as well as common steps for ensuring the inviolability of Russian church property in the region.
