Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan meets with Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem

On January 25th, Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, while on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, visited the premises of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and was warmly received by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine. Metropolitan Kirill was accompanied by Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeyev), head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, and his deputy Hegumen Nikon (Golovko).
During the meeting, His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos and Metropolitan Kirill exchanged opinions on various topical issues, having emphasized their unity in upholding the inviolable positions of the canonical Church and imperishable Gospel values.
