Rector of Russian Church’s Metochion in Sofia takes part in divine service on the Name Day of Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil

On December 11th, the commemoration day of St. Daniel the Stylite according to the Revised Julian Calendar, His Holiness Patriarch Daniil of Bulgaria celebrated his Name Day. On that day, the Primate of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church officiated at the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Holy Great Martyr Nedelya in Sofia.
Among those praying at the divine service was Archpriest Vladimir Tyshchuk, Representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ to the Bulgarian Patriarch, rector of the Metochion of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ in Sofia.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Arseniy of Sliven and Bishop Pachomius of Branica, First Vicar of the Metropolia of Sofia, greeted His Holiness Patriarch Daniil. Archpriest Vladimir Tyshchuk read out a message of greetings from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ and presented to His Holiness Patriarch Daniil a memorable gift.
To conclude the celebrations, “Many Years” were sung to the Primate of the Bulgarian Church, the Holy Synod, the hierarchs, the clergy and All Orthodox Christians, Telegram channel of the Patriarchal Metochion in Sofia reports.
