Head of DECR Meets with Ambassador of Argentina in the Russian Federation

On July 16, 2024, a meeting was held at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate between the Chairman of the DECR, Metropolitan Antony of Volokolamsk, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Argentina to the Russian Federation, Enrique Ignacio Ferrer Vieira.

Metropolitan Antony warmly welcomed the diplomat at the premises of the Department for External Church Relations. During the conversation, the Archpastor, in particular, familiarized his interlocutor with the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church on the Argentinian soil.

The guest was accompanied by Plenipotentiary Minister of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Moscow, Diego Miguel Desmours, and an employee of the Political Department of the Embassy, Javier Llendo.

Priest Andrey Titushkin, an employee of the DECR Secretariat for Foreign Affairs, also took part in the meeting.
