Akathist Hymn to the Mother of God published in Thai language

With the blessing of Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, temporary administrator of the Diocese of Thailand, the Akathist Hymn to the Most Holy Theotokos has been published in the Thai language. The edition also provides historical background and a commentary.

The Akathist Hymn was translated and published by the Missionary and Publishing Department of the Diocese of Thailand, the diocesan website reports.

The books were presented as a gift to the Thai clergy and parishioners on the Feast of Laudation of the Most Holy Theotokos (Saturday of the Akathist), which this year was celebrated on April 20.
