Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk met with representatives of the Coptic Church

On the 28th of March 2024, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, met with Hieromonk Daoud el-Anthony, representative of the Coptic Church in Russia, and Dr Anton Milad, advisor to the Coptic Patriarch, at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), DECR Chairman for Inter-Christian Relations, also took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning the co-operation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Coptic Church.
