DECR Chairman met with a representative of the Church of England
On the 28th of March 2024, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, met with Archdeacon Leslie Nathaniel of the Diocese of East, Germany and Northern Europe, who is visiting Moscow on a pastoral visit.
Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), DECR Secretary for Inter-Christian Relations, and Patricia Szymczak, warden of the Anglican parish of St Andrew in Moscow, also took part in the meeting.
The parties discussed issues of current co-operation, including those related to the functioning of St Andrew's Anglican Parish in Moscow.
