Representative of the Orthodox Church of Czech Lands and Slovakia attends Divine service at the Russian Metochion in Sofia

On February 25, the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in the сcapital of Bulgaria by the rector, archpriest Vladimir Tyshchuk, together with archimandrite Seraphim (Shemyatovsky), representative of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', archpriest Alexiy Maksimenyuk, and also with archpriest Dimitriy Tukhchiev and deacon Alexander of the church of the Great Martyr Panteleimon.
At the Litany of Fervent Supplication, petitions were offered up for the unity of the Orthodox Church and for keeping the Church from divisions and schisms as well as for the health of His Holiness Patriarch Neofit of Bulgaria. A prayer for the restoration of peace was said after the litany.
Archpriest Vladimir Tyshchuk delivered a sermon on the Sunday Gospel reading, website of the Metochion reports.
After thanksgiving prayers, a moleben was celebrated at the relics of St. Seraphim.
