Parishes of the Diocese of Thailand collected aid for children with cancer

On the 18th of January, Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), Secretary of the Archdiocese of Thailand, visited the Institute for Child Health in Bangkok, which works under the patronage of Queen Mother Sirikit.
With the blessing of the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia, the clergyman gave the medical institution and its patients aid from parishes of the diocese. At the request of the administration, folding beds, blankets and pillows were donated to the hospital, the diocesan website reports.
In addition, Father Oleg gave the parents of 50 young patients envelopes with financial aid from Orthodox parishes. The total amount of donations was 100 thousand baht.
