The Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Borodyanka, Kiev region, was seized.

Supporters of the schismatic "Orthodox Church of Ukraine" have seized the church in honour of the Archangel Michael in the village of Borodyanka, Kiev region. This was reported by the "Union of Orthodox Journalists" with reference to the telegram channel "Dozor on "Pershomu Kozatskyy".

On the night of the 20^th of November, a cleric of the "OCU" came to the Church of the Archangel Michael with a group of people in military uniform.

While the parishioners were praying in their church, the raiders cut the locks on the doors, after which "a massacre broke out, in which the invaders were assisted by the police."

The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael was illegally transferred to the "OCU" on the 9^th of July 2023. The lawyer of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, who tried to stop the illegal vote, was led away by the police under such shouts of the activists as: "provocateur!" and "down with the Moscow priests!".

The current rector, Archpriest Viktor Talko, was evicted from the church. The "priest" of the "OCU" Dimitriy was appointed in his place.
