Rector of Sofia Patriarchal Metochion celebrates requiem litiya at the monument to soldiers in Lozenets district

On May 9, archimandrite Vassian (Zmeyev), rector of the Metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in Sofia, together with deacon Alexander Morozov celebrated a requiem litiya for all fallen Russian soldiers at the site of war graves located in Lozenets district of the Bulgarian capital.
After the service, wreaths and flowers were laid at the memorial by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Eleonora Mitrofanova, Ambassadors of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Armenia, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Vietnam, and by residents of the capital of Bulgaria, website of the Patriarchal Metochion in Sofia reports.
