Metropolitan Pavel of Khanty-Mansi and Surgut celebrated divine service at Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem

On March 25, Metropolitan Pavel of Khanty-Mansi and Surgut, who is on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with a blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, presided over the All-Night Vigil at the church of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, dedicated to Royal Martyr Tzarina Alexandra, the Mission’s press-service reports.
Among His Eminence’s concelebrants were Archimandrite Alexander (Yelisov), head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, Archpriest Gennady Bartov, rector of the Trinity-Izmailovsky Cathedral in Sankt-Petersburg; Hieromonk Dometian (Markarian), deputy head of the Mission; Archpriest Alexander Moskalev, a cleric of the Diocese of Kemerovo; and Deacon Makary Petukhov, a cleric of the Mission.
Among the worshippers were I. N. Sudosa, chairman of the Protocol Department of the Diocese of Sankt-Petersburg, associate professor of Sankt-Petersburg Theological Academy; parishioners and pilgrims.
On March 26, the 4th Sunday of the Great Lent dedicated to Saint John Klimakos, Metropolitan Pavel celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission’s church.
On March 21, Metropolitan Pavel was received by His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine.
On the same day, His Eminence visited the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, where he met with its head Archimandrite Alexander (Yelisov).
