Serbian hierarch visits a Russian church in Strasbourg

On December 4, the feast of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple, Archimandrite Philip (Ryabykh), rector of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Parish of All Saints in Strasbourg, participated in the Liturgy celebrated at the Serbian parish of St. George the Victorious.
Bishop Justin of Western Europe officiated. Assisting him were Archimandrite Philip (Ryabykh); rector of St. George parish in Strasbourg, Archpriest Petar Lukić; and rector of the French-speaking Orthodox parish of St. George Palamas and St. Attalia the Rev. Daniel Esklyain, Russian Orthodox Church. Praying at the Liturgy together with many parishioners were pilgrims from different cities of France, Switzerland and Germany.
That same feast day, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at All Saints Parish by the Rev. Yevgeny Makushkin, website of the Parish reports.
After the divine service, the Serbian hierarch and the ordained guests who accompanied him, visited the stavropegic Parish of All Saints. Its rector, Archimandrite Philip, showed them the church, the parish centre, the library, and the collection of Orthodox icons. Also, he told them about church interior design approved by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill in 2021.
The choir sang hymns in Serbian and French for Bishop Justin and other guests.
As a token of his visit to a Moscow Patriarchate parish, Bishop Justin presented it with the icon of Our Lady of Philermos highly venerated by the faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
