DECR chairman meets with Russian ambassador in Italy

On October 22, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, met in Rome with Russia’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Italy S. S. Razov.
In the course of the talk at the ambassador’s Villa Abamelek, they discussed issues concerning the cooperation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian diplomatic mission in the Apennines.
On the same day. Metropolitan Anthony visited the Church of Great Martyr Catherine where he worshipped during the All-Night Vigil.
