Please accept my congratulations on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of your enthronement to see of the metropolitans of Kiev.

Through the unknowable providence of the Almighty, you have stood at the helm of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at a difficult period in her history. May the Saviour who is the lover of mankind, through the prayers of his Most Pure Mother grant you strength on the path of preserving the unity and purity of the canonical order of Church life.
