The head of the Muslim Board of the Caucasus arrives in Moscow at the invitation of Patriarch Kirill
On October 2021, the Chairman of the Muslim Board of the Caucasus Sheikh-ul-Islam Allakhshuqur Pasha-zade came to visit Moscow at the invitation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
At Vnukovo airport, the high guest and his delegation were met by Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov), a vice-chairman of the Department for External Church Relations (DECR) of the Moscow Patriarchate, as well as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Russia Polad Bulbul-oglu.
It is planned to hold on October 12 a meeting of the head of the Muslim Board of the Caucasus with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. On October 13, a tripartite meeting is to take place between His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, Sheikh-ul-islam Allakhshuqur Pasha-zade and the Catholicos Karekin II of All Armenians, devoted to the peace-making mission of the religious leaders in South Caucasus.
