Please accept my heartfelt greetings on this memorable day in your life.
For many decades Your Majesty’s subjects have been grateful for your peaceful reign, inasmuch as in all, even trying circumstances you always show dignity and honour, setting an inspiring example to the residents of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations and guiding them on the path to consolidation and civil concord, observance of the law and maintenance of the order.
With particular warmth and appreciation I recall our meeting in October 2016, in the course of which we had an opportunity to bear witness to the good relations established between the Church of England and the Russian Orthodox Church, and note the attention that the authorities of Great Britain devote to the activities of the Diocese of Sourozh.
On this momentous day I wish to Your Majesty good health and God’s generous help in your lofty and demanding service, which you perform with zeal for the good of your country and people.
