Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk meets with Apostolic Nuncio to Russian Federation
The discussed the present situation of the relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church, and a number of issues of the bilateral interaction of current importance.
They emphasized that the year 2021 is marked with the 5 th anniversary of the Havana Meeting and, on the occasion of the first anniversary of this historic event, it is planned to initiate a series of joint projects. They also discussed plans for their implementation.
They were joined in their talk by Hieromonk Stephen (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christian relations and Monsignor Peter Tarnavsky.
