A new church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is consecrated in the diocese of Sarny instead of the church captured by schismatics

After the raiding capture of the St. Nicholas church at Selets, Dubrovitsa district, the persecuted church community had to worship at a chapel in the cemetery at Yasinets. Through the efforts of the rector of the church, Archpriest Nikolay Ivanchenko, and of parishioners the chapel was equipped as a church.
Metropolitan Anatoly consecrated the new communion table and with a blessing of His Holiness Onufry, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, set in the relics of Holy Martyr Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kiev and Galich, into the table of the altar. After the consecration of the altar table, the first hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated.
Among Metropolitan Anatoly’s concelebrants were Archimandrite Anthony (Griban), abbot of the monastery of the Holy Protecting Veil at the Velikiye Tseptsevichi village, Archpriest Nikolay Ivanchenko, rector of the Ss Peter and Paul church at Yasinets, as well as priests from neighbouring villages and clergy of the diocese of Kiev.
After the liturgy, His Eminence Anatoly congratulated the clergy and faithful on the consecration of the church, wished the parishioners to preserve the church and the faith of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers, and thanked the faithful for their sacrificial nature.
