Chairman of Finance and Economic Administration discusses preservation of St.Catherine the Great Martyr Church in-the-Fields with representative of the Orthodox Church in America
Taking part in the meeting were Rev. Mikhail Titov, deputy director of the Non-Commercial Partnership ‘Moscow Patriarchate Unified Customer Service’; Mr. A.V. Menshov, director of the Cultural and Historical Monument Management Agency; Mr. Yu. S.Anikeyev, counselor of the Group of Companies EKS; and Ms. Yekaterina G. Inasaridze, head of the Restoration and Repairs Department of the Finance and Economic Administration.
Preparation for the restorations works, design documentation, source of financing and other issues were discussed.
The OCA Representation Church of St. Catherine the Great Martyr in-the-Fields in Moscow built in the 18 th century is a federally significant object of cultural heritage requiring complex restoration. Parish building and metal railings also need restoring. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill personally controls all issues pertaining to the restoration.
