Metropolitan Hilarion continues his visit to Poland

On 31 May 2011, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR), currently on a visit in Poland, and the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church visited the “Bethany” church house for the aged not far from Warsaw. The DECR chairman visited the church St. Alexandra the Great Martyr and talked with the worshippers.

That same day in the evening, Metropolitan Hilarion visited the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Poland. A dinner in honour of Metropolitan Hilarion was given on behalf of the Russian Ambassador to Poland Alexander Alexeyev. Attending the dinner among other guests were His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland and archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations.
