Russian doctors examine patients in Al-Hosn hospital of the Orthodox Church of Antioch

On 5 May 2018, with the approval of the supreme authorities of the Orthodox Church of Antioch, in the Al-Hosn hospital in Syria, the Russian doctors from the Hmeimim military base carried out a charitable medical examination of the Syrian patients. The charity event was timed to the commemoration day of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victory-Bearer. During the examination, patients received necessary medicaments free of charge.

The Al-Hosn Patriarchal hospital is located in the diocese of Akkar of the Orthodox Church of Antioch, Homs province. The hospital provides a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services and devotes special attention to rendering aid to those affected by the war in Syria.
