Pilgrims from Portugal visit Department for External Church Relations

On 15 August 2018, a group of Catholic pilgrims from Portugal, led by Rev. António Vaz Pinto, rector of the Church of St. Roch in Lisbon, visited the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations. With the blessing of the DECR chairman, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christian relations, met with the pilgrims.

Fr. Stefan told the guests about current activities and life of the Russian Orthodox Church and raised some topical issues pertaining to the relationships between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Roman Catholic Church.
