Metochion of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Paris – historical cathedral church of the Western European Exarchate – celebrates its 95th anniversary

On 12th February 2026, commemoration day of the Ecumenical Teachers and Hierarchs – Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom – Metochion of the Three Hierarchs in Pétel Street, Paris, celebrated its patronal feast and the 95th anniversary of its foundation.
Officiating at the Divine Liturgy in the historical cathedral church of the Western European Exarchate was Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhaylov, Administrator of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe and the Diocese of Korsun.
Concelebrating with Metropolitan Mark were hierarchs of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe who had arrived in Paris to take part in a meeting of the Exarchate’s Synod, namely, Archbishop Elisey of the Hague and the Netherlands; Bishop Matthew of Sourozh; Bishop Ambrose of Bogorodsk, Vicar to the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe; and Bishop Peter of Kafa, Vicar to the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe.
Among the concelebrants were also Archpriest Nicholas Rebinder, Rector of the Three Hierarchs Church; Priest Maxim Politov Secretary of the Korsun Diocesan Administration; Archimandrite Martin (de Caflisch), Dean of the Diocese’s Parishes in Switzerland; as well as the clergy of the Three Hierarchs Church and ordained guests.
Liturgical hymns were performed by the parish choir conducted by Reader A. Rebinder, website of the Korsun Diocese reports.
After the Prayer Behind the Ambo, Metropolitan Mark and his concelebrants lifted up prayers of praise to the holy patrons of the church.
The Administrator of the Exarchate of Western Europe delivered an archpastoral homily, in which he focused on the life and deeds of the saints commemorated that day. Metropolitan Mark also extended his greetings to the rector, clerics and parishioners on the occasion of the patronal feast of the church.
