A meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe was held

On 11 February 2026, a meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe took place in the building of the Korsun Diocesan Administration in Paris, under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhaylovsk, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe and the Korsun Diocese.
The meeting was attended by hierarchs serving in the countries of the Exarchate’s pastoral responsibility: Archbishop Elisey of The Hague and the Netherlands, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, and the vicars of the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe: Bishop Ambrose of Bogorodsk and Bishop Peter of Kaffa.
Opening the meeting, Metropolitan Mark addressed the members of the Synod with introductory remarks and announced the agenda, according to the website of the Korsun Diocese.
Members of the Synod reported on the state of affairs in the dioceses entrusted to their archpastoral care and exchanged views on a wide range of current issues.
At the conclusion of the meeting, reports were heard from the head and delegates of the youth movement from various countries of Western Europe.
