Seminar on Upbringing and Development of Children in Digital World: Scientific and Spiritual Perspective to take place at Russian Orthodox Church’s parish in Krefeld, Germany

On 14th February 2026, the Parish of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara in Krefeld, Germany, will host a seminar entitled ‘The Upbringing and Development of Children in Digital World: Scientific and Spiritual Perspective.’
The organizers invite parents, teachers, clergymen, young people, high school students and all those who want to develop a purposeful and responsible approach to the upbringing, education and spiritual formation of children in the digital era to take part in the meeting, reports the website of the Diocese of Berlin and Germany.
The seminar will look at the digital technologies’ impact on children and adults from the spiritual, pedagogical and medical perspectives. In particular, based on clinical and psychological researches and their practical experience, speakers will explore digital addiction in young children in terms of the biology of the brain. They will also talk about pedagogical methods to improve attention span and discipline and create motivation when working with children and adolescents.
