Russian Ambassador to Israel visits Russian Ecclesiastical Mission

On 26^th August 2025, Mr Anatoly Viktorov, Russia’s Ambassador to Israel, visited the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem.

Archimandrite Vassian (Zmeyev), head of the Mission, and Hegumen Nikon (Golovko), deputy head of the Mission, welcomed the high guest.

As the website of the Mission reports, the participants in the meeting discussed practical aspects of state-confessional cooperation, as well as measures to improve the security of the Mission’s staff members and immovable property in view of the ongoing military and political instability in the Middle East region.
