Priest of the Russian Church attends meeting between Russian diplomats and heads of compatriots’ associations held in Antalya

On 22^nd August, the National Flag Day of Russia, Priest Alexei Golovin, who is responsible for taking pastoral care of the Russian Orthodox faithful in the Turkish Province of Antalya, took part in a meeting between the staff of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation and heads of Antalya- and Alanya-based associations of the Russian compatriots.

During the meeting, the meters-long Russian flag was unfurled in front of the building of the Consulate General. The hymn of the Russian Federation was played, and Mr Sergei Vetrik, Russian Consul in Antalya, greeted all those present, Telegram channel of the Russian Orthodox Church’s communities in Turkey reports.

Performance of the Antalya Russian Choir added a festive note to the meeting.
