Cleric of Singapore Diocese visits Papua New Guinea

On 1^st – 7^th July 2025, with the blessing of Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, Priest Philip Calington, a cleric of the Singapore Diocese, visited the capital of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby, and its outskirts.

While in the country, Father Philip met with local Orthodox Christians and those who show interest in the Orthodox faith. He also visited a remote village of Lea Lea, met with its dwellers and shared with them his spiritual experience, reports Telegram channel of the Patriarchal Exarchate of South-East Asia.

The Sunday meeting in Port Moresby concluded with joint prayer and a long talk about spiritual matters. The priest also brought to the local faithful some essential religious items, such as Bibles, prayer books, icons and prayer beads.
