Meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe Exarchate takes place

On March 17, a meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Western Europe was held in the building of the Chersonesus Diocesan Administration in Paris under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Nestor of Chersonesus and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe.
The meeting was attended by bishops serving in countries of the pastoral responsibility of the Exarchate: Archbishop Simon of Brussels and Belgium, Archbishop Yelisey of the Hague and the Netherlands, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh and Bishop Peter of Kafa, vicar of the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, the website of the Diocese of Chersonesus reports.
Opening the meeting, Metropolitan Nestor of Chersonesus and Western Europe addressed the members of the Synod with an introductory speech and announced the agenda for the first day of the meeting.
The members of the Synod reported on the state of affairs in the dioceses entrusted to their archpastoral administration and exchanged opinions on a wide range of topical issues.
