Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe celebrates on Christmas night at the Trinity Cathedral in Paris

On the night of January 7, the feast of the Nativity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Metropolitan Nestor of Chersonesus and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Paris.
The archpastor was assisted by Rev. Maxim Politov, secretary of the Chersonesus diocesan administration, Archpriest Igor Trofim, Rev. Daniil Naberezhny, Protodeacon Nikolai Rebinder, and Deacon Roman Onika. Liturgical hymns were sung by the cathedral choir conducted by Ms Marina Politova, website of the diocese reports.
After the Communion verse, Rev. Maxim read out Christmas messages from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ and from Metropolitan Nestor, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe.
After the prayer before the Ambo, the archpastor and other celebrants celebrated Glorification to the Nativity of Christ.
The second Christmas Liturgy was celebrated in the morning of January 7 by hieromonk Iriney (Gribov) together with hierodeacon Dionisiy (Volkov) and deacon Filipp Markov.
