Requiem services celebrated in Holy Trinity Orthodox cemetery in Tehran

On December 19, visiting the Holy Trinity Orthodox cemetery in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran were Orthodox clergymen archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev), rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Tehran; archpriest Alexander Suvorov from the Kazakhstan Metropolitan District; hegumen Varlaam (Dulsky) of St. Nicholas Cathedral, and deacon Alexiy Kostin.
Archimandrite Alexander took a look at the repair and restoration work carried out in the cemetery and officiated at the requiem service for all those who are buried in this cemetery. The service was celebrated at the Holy Trinity church.
Also, requiem services were conducted at the tombs of some deceased members of the Orthodox community in Tehran.
