A representative of the Assyrian Church of the East visited the DECR
On the 22nd of November the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations hosted a meeting between Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), Secretary of the Department for Inter-Christian Relations, and Priest Dayavosh Azizian Ali Komi, representative of the diocese of Iran, Armenia and Georgia of the Assyrian Church of the East, who arrived in Moscow to participate in the V International Conference "The Care of the Church for the Mentally Ill". The conference is being held at the Department for External Church Relations on 24 - 25 November.
The meeting was also attended by Priest Addai Nazlu, a clergyman of the diocese of Iran, Armenia and Georgia of the Assyrian Church, a student of the Moscow Theological Academy, and S.G. Alferov, an employee of the DECR.
The parties discussed topics related to bilateral cooperation in the sphere of joint projects for the development of church social ministry.
